Although travel insurance is optional, you are advised to take full insurance covering cancellation expenses, medical evacuation and repatriation expenses, baggage, etc.

Vaccins
A yellow fever vaccination is required for travelers (over 1 year old) coming from infected areas. Any import of animals (pets ) requires an authorisation from the Ministry of Agriculture. The pet should be presented to customs officers together with a certificate delivered in its country of origin. Cats and dogs are subject to a quarantine period of 5 days.
