The transformation of the West makes headway! Here is an update of how the Smart & Happy Village of Cap Tamarin is progressing, promising to revolutionise the lifestyles of the region.

Access to new roads scheduled for soon!

A city is first and foremost a well thought out infrastructure… Which is why one of the preeminent projects Cap Tamarin focused on was the development of roads and bike paths; the electricity network; drinking water and rainwater; and optical fibre. Almost completed, this first phase of activities (representing an investment of Rs 550 million by the Trimetys group) shall provide Tamarin with a new look as of December - date at which the opening of the roads is scheduled.

Progressing at a steady pace, sales confirm the enthusiasm generated by the project among both Mauritians and foreigners. The next key handovers are scheduled as early as 2021, and a new apartment project from Rs 3.4M will be marketed by the end of 2019! In terms of amenities, Trimetys plans the opening of hypermarket Super U of 5000 m2, a shopping centre of 11 000 m2, as well as the C-Care clinic and the park along the river in 2020. Covering a surface of 44 hectares, Cap Tamarin shows its ambitions: in time, 1,200 residential units are planned for a total capacity of 4,000 inhabitants.
