Some history
Due to its rich cultural history, Mauritius has been occupied consecutively by the Dutch, French and English. Consequently, as time went by, several names were found to call, and often re-name the different places of the island. An emblematic golf of Mauritius

The 18-hole green that is now well-known is found on the equally famous Ile aux Cerfs, a tiny island that is a 15-minute boat ride away from the coast.
