Install / Transfer a new phone line

Mauritius Telecom offers two types of analogue lines: fixed line and the wireless telephone that uses the CDMA technology. Mauritius Telecom will install your line and you pay once-off fees depending on the type of service you requested. Once your line is installed, you pay a monthly rental for the telephone line and you pay for the calls you make each month.

How do I apply for a new line?
You will need to go to the nearest Orange Shop and fill in this application form. Please bring along with you the following documents:

  • Mauritian national: your National ID card or passport or driving license & Foreigner: passport
  • A proof of address
    You may also send us a scanned copy of the application form by email on [email protected] or fax it to us on 208 5057. Please also attach a copy of your National ID and proof of address.
