Before the date planned for your move, it is necessary for you to make a request for subscription in order to pass on the list of all your electrical appliances. You will then have to contact a CEB (Central Electricity Board) agent so that to ensure you respect all the criteria required.

For the existing houses already connected to the network of the CEB, we advise you to make this request one week before moving in your house.
For houses recently built in an already electrified zone, it is advised to do it 1 month before.
If your house is located far from low-tension network or in an unelectrified area, it will then be necessary to extend the existing network to be able to feed it. The time for the realization of this project by the CEB should not normally exceed 6 months. In addition, if you are willing to incur the expenses in order to speed up the installation process, consult the head of the customer care/department of your locality to find out about the payment terms.
Upon your request for a network connection, a CEB inspector will do a follow-up visit in your residence to advise you on works you shall undertake at your expenses.
Remember that, according to the law, the installation of a differential circuit breaker is compulsory.
