Due to expiry of their "Bus Pass" and to the fact that they have not yet been renewed, Mauritian students are bound to pay full rate for their bus tickets. Instead from paying the student rate (75% of the normal public rate), they will have to pay the full rate until they get their Bus Pass renewed.
However, the National Transport Corporation ensures that students dressed in uniforms and presenting their Bus Pass, expired or not, traveling on NTC buses, would continue to pay student rate.
