Villas Valriche available for rent as from April

The first Villas Valriche phase project in Bel Ombre which falls under the Integrated Resorts Scheme (IRS) comprising 132 villas, including a hundred already sold, has been presented to the press this morning, in Bel-Ombre. Other procedures have already been launched for the sale of 15 other villas. Those villas will be available for rent at approximately 700 Euros per week and this, as from April 2010.

villas-valricheFor now, those villas are sold to foreigners but a local and international communication campaign will be jointly launched from March 2010, where ‘Discovery Week-ends’ formulas will be proposed to Mauritians during the launching period. Till this day, about thirty villas will be available for rent as from the month of April, at a fixed price of 700 Euros per week and this, till the peak season in December.

As part of an ambitious project, those villas are worth the visit, all of them being of great interest and falling under one of the four proposed styles. The Véranda Style Villas are individual ones in the traditional plantation style with a garage, conceived in straight-line and providing a comfortable interior and exterior living space with heightened terraces, pool and a tropical garden. The Village Style Villa has been created for small land parcels with a big patio, pool and garden. The Terrace Style Villa, disposed in L is an individual villa of plantation style, just like the Patio Style Villas.

As a reminder, it is the Veranda Resorts, the Rogers hotels division which manages the Villas Valriche villas rentals, luxury IRS properties in Bel Ombre. The agreement has been signed in April 2009 between the Villas Valriche and the Veranda Group for the villas location pool management. This agreement, underline the promoters, represent a major axis for the group’s development and its willingness to develop the first integrated leisure area in Mauritius with the concept of the Domaine de Bel Ombre destination in the heart of the Mauritius destination.

villas-valriche-2Anton de Waal, Chief Executive Officer of the Villas Valriche states that, despite the crisis, they have been able to make it through and that the foreign buyers were still affluent. Only for this first development phase which comprises of 132 villas, a hundred villas have already been sold and till April 2010, about fifty owners will take delivery.

They reminded that the Villas Valriche is destined to an international as well as Mauritian client base. Furthermore, many advantages are offered, namely when a probable buyer reserves a villa, he is automatically eligible to the space and to the intimacy brought by this accommodation formula and to an infinite plethora of services proposed by the Heritage Le Telfair and Heritage Awali, the two group’s hotel. The Villas Valriche set comprises 288 modern colonial styled villas of two to four bedrooms, with pool, private garden, view on the Castle’s gold and on the lagoon. A Beach Club is reserved for the property’s residents with five-star performance.

piscineThe global cost of the first Villas Valriche phase is of approximately 115 million USD and the gross income is estimated to be a budget of 200 million USD. At the end of this project, Rs 57, 6 million will be credited to the Bel-Ombre Foundation For Empowerment (BOFE) in order to integrate some 5000 families living in Bel-Ombre, St Martin, Baie du Cap, Rivière des Galets which are among the most isolated villages of the island. Regarding villas which will be proposed at the end of this year, it must be noted that according to the sales contract clauses’, every Villas Valriche buyer must adhere to a location park even though he does not intend to rent his villa. Another mentioned fact is that the Villas Valriche location is done only through a designated provider, and following the terms and conditions agreed by all the buyers.

The Villas Valriche concept has been designed by a Mauritian architect firm managed by Jean François Adam. As for the construction contract, it has been allocated to China Jiangsu International after international bid solicitation. The infrastructures’ construction started in December 2007 the villas’ in February 2008.
