World Habitat Day celebrated today

In Resolution 40/202 of 17 December 1985, the UN General Assembly designated the first Monday of October of every year as World Habitat Day to consider the state of living environment including villages, towns and cities. Moreover, this Day represents an opportunity to take into account the fundamental right of each and every citizen to have a decent habitat.
