Created in 1993, the World Travel Awards celebrate and award excellence in all sectors of the tourism industry. It is noteworthy to point out that more than 200 000 professionals of the tourism sector (tour operators, travel agencies, tourism organisation/associations) have voted to propel Mauritius Number 1 within the "Best Honeymoon Destination" category.
